Corporations Pulling Ads From All-American Muslim Are Engaged In Jim Crow-Style Discrimination
TLC's reality TV series All-American Muslim showcases the lives of five motley families in Dearborn, MI -- a Detroit suburb home to one of America's largest and most vibrant Arab-American communities.

The Florida Family Association, a Tampa Bay group, has led a campaign urging companies to pull ads on “All-American Muslim.” The FFA contends that 65 of 67 companies it has targeted have pulled their ads, including

Goodyear,

Another company has pulled its ads from TLC’s controversial docu-series “All-American Muslim,” saying it did so because TLC “was not upfront with us about the nature of this show” and was deliberately “trying to pick a fight” over the series. The online travel company Kayak.com also says that its chief marketing officer watched a couple of episodes and “just thought the show sucked.”
